Open Call: European Geosciences Union
The European Geosciences Union currently has an open call for expert members for the Climate Hazard and Risk Task Force.
The Climate Hazard and Risk Task Force will select eight to ten interdisciplinary experts to support the transfer of climate hazard and risk-related knowledge to policymakers and promote evidence-informed policymaking.
The selected experts will not only provide timely, relevant, and useful scientific advice to European policymakers but also gain experience working at the science-policy interface, expand their network, and develop deeper insights into the European policy landscape.
From May 2025 onwards, this group will be actively aiming to provide scientific evidence to help answer EU-based policy-related questions.
