May 16,2024: Eratyra, Greece, During the large-scale forest fire field exercise “DIA PYROS 2024”, the SAILOR project was presented, highlighting cross-border risk assessment and emergency management strategies between Georgia and Azerbaijan. The Institute of Civil Protection of the University of Western Macedonia actively participated in the exercise at the Monastery of Agios Athanasios in Eratyra, demonstrating real-time coordination and operational response for large-scale wildfires.
