On 14 May 2025, the Federation of European fire officers (FEU) convened its 57th Council meeting in Prague, Czech Republic. The accompanying seminar focused on the transformative role of data, artificial intelligence, and innovative technologies in fire and rescue services. Participants discussed practical applications to enhance efficiency and decision-making.

The seminar on “Data-Driven Fire and Rescue Services” focused on exploring the integration of data-driven approaches within fire and rescue operations. It provided a platform for experts, technologists, policy makers and practitioners to exchange insights, strategies and case studies. The seminar helped to stimulate dialogue on how data can reshape the fire and rescue services to address changing risks and challenges while strengthening community resilience.
