A successful end-user requirements workshop

By project INEGMA-E2 staffPublished on

The INEGMA-E2 end-user workshop took place on July 13th as a virtual event, bringing together the project team with exercise evaluators from all over Europe. The workshop aimed to:

  • familiarize the participants with the project's base taxonomy and requirements
  • validate and extend the taxonomy for describing end-user requirements
  • identify new end-user requirements
  • introduce the Gaps Explorer & Portfolio of Solutions software
  • prepare the transfer of the reworked end-user requirements specified by the workshop participants to the Gaps Explorer

We are pleased to announce that the workshop was a very positive experience for everyone involved. The engagement of the external end users was excellent and the outcome exceeded expectations with 18 new end-user requirements identified. The organizational and operational aspect of the workshop was well perceived (the only criticism was to provide the taxonomy before the workshop) and our external guests, the end-users, were mostly ready to stay for 6 hours! All in all, we managed to elaborate 8 of the 18 newly identified end-user requirements in more detail during the workshop.

Thanks to all participants and all project partners for the fantastic cooperation!
