SUNSHINE Project - Second Training Seminar
From 3-6 March 2026, the EU-funded SUNSHINE project held its second training seminar in Strasbourg, France, bringing together operational responders and technical experts from across the EU.
The seminar focused on advancing the uptake of EU space data and services such as Copernicus and Galileo for disaster resilience. Through workshops, case studies, and simulation exercises, participants strengthened their capacity to integrate space-based tools into disaster risk management and emergency response.
The event contributes to enhancing preparedness, fostering cross-border cooperation, and supporting the EU's broader commitment to resilience and civil protection.
