Description
The Federal Research Centre for Forests (BFW) is dedicated to all aspects of the forest habitat – in economic, ecological and social terms. With the help of scientifically sound methods, for example, the sustainable management of the forest and the natural hazards exacerbated by climate change are analyzed. We pass on our knowledge to society. And fulfil control tasks for the Republic of Austria.
