The Directorate-General for Civil Security and Crisis Management is the central structure responsible for risks in France (from accidents in everyday life to major disasters).
It is structured around 4 areas of expertise, represented by the Fire Brigade Directorate (DSP), the Planning and Crisis Management Department (SPGC), the Sub-Directorate of International Affairs, Resources and Strategy (SDAIRS).
