As the state's research institution, the FVA is responsible for forests and forestry in Baden-Württemberg and is assigned to the Ministry of Food, Rural Affairs and Consumer Protection (MLR). It takes on tasks that are important for society as a whole. Research, monitoring, knowledge transfer and consulting for politics, administration and companies make up the core of our work.
