Description
The parish of Cordinhã is situated in the east of the Municipality of Cantanhede about seven kilometers from the city of Cantanhede, seat of Municipality. With an area of 9.93Km2 and a present population of 1,034 people (second last survey in 2011).
The parish consists of the places of Cordinhã, Ourentela, Azenha (almost merged with the place of Ourentela) and Rosela, composed of two small clusters of houses.
This parish has by neighbors the parish of Ourentã, to the north, Murtede a Nascente, Portunhos and Barcouço (Aveiro District) to the south, and Cantanhede to West. It presents itself in its configuration similar, to the abrupt form, of a HUMAN HEART.
