The mission of Croatian Waters is to manage the waters in the Republic of Croatia in order to protect life, health and property from the harmful effects of waters, and to ensure the continued availability of waters by optimizing economic and environmental benefits on the principles of sustainable development.

Vision

The vision of Croatian Waters is to continuously realize its mission and achieve the goals set, respecting the highest quality standards, using modern scientific and empirical technologies and methods that are friendly to the environment and nature, to achieve the highest degree of agreement with users and water stakeholders about the goals and ways of water conservation and protection, to develop water awareness as a strategic resource, and establish itself as a professional and credible national water management agency.

Goals

In carrying out their own mission and realizing their own vision, Croatian Waters will: continuously raise and seek quality, bring their business closer to water users, water stakeholders, the interested public and the general public, continue to achieve balanced proper, purposeful, efficient, economical and transparent financial operations based primarily on original and autonomous revenues from water charges, respecting their purpose and purpose of budget funds, respecting their purpose and purpose of budget funds, enforcing the prescribed prohibitions and limitations on borrowing and respecting the scope of contracting within the limits of the current financial and water management plan, increasing efficiency through the purposeful internal organization, management and development of human resources, including continuous professional development, proper and equitable redistribution of work jobs and tasks, taking into account the principle of subsidiarity, improve the overall business through the introduction of modern IT solutions, and through improving business processes.
