Description
PREVENT, AVOID and KNOW HOW to OPERATE in case of accidents in water and on land, training professionals capable of coordinating interventions, in the awareness and significant dimension of the reality of bathing establishments, swimming pools and more generally of the aquatic and terrestrial environment.
The F.I.S.A. (S.I.S.) aims to promote widespread social activity, for the defense of the life of Italian and foreign citizens in the various aspects of man's relationship with water, through the national organization of adequate knowledge and structures and the foundation and support of similar foreign organizations for the international dissemination of the same purposes.
The F.I.S.A. (S.I.S.) plans and implements its activities, without distinction of religion, politics and race, in order to:
- contribute to safety in water and on land;
- spread the culture of water as prevention and awareness;
- study and disseminate tools, behaviors, techniques and highly qualified personnel for safety and rescue at sea and in all emergency situations.
The F.I.S.A. Lifeguard license will allow you to operate:

- in tourism for prevention and safety on the coasts, lakes, swimming pools (in hotels, villages, campsites);
- in sporting events as a support to organizational and first aid services;
- in civil protection, as a rescuer.
