Description
The National Authority for the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities is the Romanian central authority, subordinated to the Ministry of Labour, Family, Youth and Social Solidarity, with a role in coordinating the activities for the protection and promotion of the rights of persons with disabilities, developing policies, strategies and standards in the field of protection and promotion of the rights of persons with disabilities, ensuring the follow-up of the application of the regulations in its own field and the control of the activities of protection and promotion of the rights of persons with disabilities, according to the Government Decision no. 234 of 2022 on the attributions, organization and functioning of the National Authority for the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
