Spanish State Meteorological Agency (AEMET)

Description

The purpose of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) is to develop, implement and provide meteorological services within the competence of the State and to support the exercise of other public policies and private activities, contributing to the safety of people and property, and to the well-being and sustainable development of Spanish society. The Agency holds the status of meteorological authority of the State, as well as the status of aeronautical meteorological authority.
