TED University was established by the Turkish Education Association Higher Education Foundation in Ankara with the Law on the Amendment of the Law on the Organization of Higher Education Institutions.
With the principle of "human first", it has adopted the philosophy of "liberal education", which provides the knowledge, skills and competencies required by globalization. The language of instruction is English in all departments. TED University, which aims at quality in education with its Faculties of Education, Arts and Sciences, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Architecture and Design, Engineering, English Language School and Institute of Graduate Programs, is one of the leading higher education institutions in Turkey.
