Description

COST Action AlertHub builds an interdisciplinary, pan-European network of scholars and practitioners focused on warning communication, a critical yet often under-addressed link between hazard detection and effective public response.

AlertHub’s core outputs include an open-access knowledge platform on warning systems and their legal and political frameworks, evidence-based governance recommendations, and new formats for stakeholder exchange designed for practical uptake by researchers, practitioners and policymakers alike. Given that climate change-related disasters are inherently cross-border in nature, AlertHub places a strong emphasis on international cooperation, reflecting a shared understanding that effective disaster response depends on common knowledge and coordinated action across national boundaries.
