Description

The project will deliver evidence-based recommendations for ensuring forest fire protection and fire-fighting functions in public and private forests in Latvia and also ensuring the fulfilment of the State Civil Protection Plan and civil protection tasks. The project focuses on obtaining research information on the current situation in the field of forest fire protection and firefighting in public and private forests, on the necessary investments to improve the material and technical base, including financial impact on the state budget and to find possible solution for ensuring qualitative function provision.
