Field exercises for USAR/medical/EUCPT/TAST/ORC "Cycle 12"

These EU MODEX exercises have an integrated approach for consequence management in case of serious structure collapse to private and public settlements as well as damages to the medical facilities mainly due to the strong earthquakes when USAR modules and EMTs are essential. Three of the exercises include the participation of EUCPT and TAST.
These exercises could be also used for INSARAG IER.

Description

The aim of the exercises is to improve the coordination of civil protection assistance interventions by ensuring better compatibility and interoperability between intervention teams and other intervention support, and by testing and improving the competences of the experts.

In addition to providing a learning opportunity for all participants, the exercise will provide an opportunity to test compliance with the quality requirements for UCPM deployments, in particular cooperation, coordination, interoperability, self-sufficiency, standard operating procedures (SOPs), communication and reporting, safety and security.
