Description
The project will develop a national multi-hazard disaster loss database which will provide essential information for disaster risk decision-making based on the shared understanding that only what is measured can be known in depth and accordingly well managed. The result will contribute to enhanced knowledge on the impact of disasters at international level following the recommendation of the Sendai Framework as well as to improved institutional, technical and financial capacity for implementing and monitoring disaster prevention. Further, the project aims to create valuable links and connections with the JRC disaster loss database.
