Description
The project will operationalise the previously developed Wildfire management strategy (from the 2020 project) with an Action Plan and strong capacity building components that also consider greenhouse gas emission mitigation options in wildfire prevention to support the Long-Term Climate Strategy of Türkiye. The project will also carry out awareness and dissemination activities in primary schools. The technical assessments will explore and put forward the linkage between forest fire management and emission reduction objectives of the country that will serve a green transition in forestry.
