The second specialised EUMA Workshop on "Natural Hazards and Risks within Disaster Risk Management – Concepts, Applications, and Future Trends." will take place at the University of Vienna on July 3-4. Distinguished experts will guide group discussions on key topics, with outcomes shaping a new EUropean MAster’s programme on disaster risk and crisis management.
The workshop is open to a maximum of 20/25 participants, with some positions reserved for members of partner institutions. The remaining participants will be selected through a competitive call for participation. Practitioners and researchers in disaster management and related fields are the primary target audience. All participants will be present in Vienna, while the keynotes and presentations will be broadcasted for those who can not participate in Vienna. A light lunch and coffee breaks will be provided during the one-and-a-half days of the workshop. Additionally a social dinner on 3 July will be organised.
