Led by the OVERWATCH project, held on November 21, 2025.
Title: “Implementation of new technologies in operational activities of crisis management and civil protection services. AI, Drones, and Satellites for Real-Time Situational Awareness in Disaster Response”
The workshop provided a unique opportunity to engage with a network of EU projects at the forefront of innovation in emergency management. Participants gained insights into emerging technologies such as AI, drones, and satellite tools that are transforming real-time situational awareness and disaster response. These solutions are being developed to better address the increasingly complex disaster scenarios facing Europe 🇪🇺 in the future.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the organisation of the event (especially CMINE - The Crisis Management Innovation Network), the projects involved (UNICORN Project, COLLARIS Network, DIREKTION project (Horizon Europe), and all participants.
