Participants will benefit from keynote speeches and presentations by experts in the field, visits to national and international organizations, and a field trip to the Ahr Valley affected by the extreme 2021 flood causing 135 fatalities.
The Winter School is open to a maximum of 30 participants. Postgraduate students, practitioners and researchers in disaster management and related fields are the primary target audience. All participants will need to attend in person in Bonn.
Registration opens in October.
