Story collection: Next Generation in the UCPM

Next Generation in the UCPM

Working in the UCPM takes a diverse range of skills, and the ability to combine tried and tested techniques with new knowledge. Today’s young professionals beginning their careers in civil protection and disaster risk management are bringing new skills while learning first-hand about disaster prevention, preparedness and response.

Participants from our European Year of Youth study visit in 2022 shared their stories on what they are doing now and how they hope to develop their careers alongside the UCPM.
