Description

Following the previous 2022 and 2023 webinars on Audit information to the civil protection grant beneficiaries, DG ECHO will organise a new webinar on this topic on 14 February 2025, from 10:00 to 12:00 Brussels time.

The webinar will aim to offer UCPM grant beneficiaries an overview of the grant audit process - including the basic elements of the audit cycle, common errors in the financial management of the action leading to disallowances in the past, etc., so that they can better address the audit process and auditors’ expectations. This information may be useful in view of avoiding recoveries years after a project closes. A dedicated time slot will also be provided for your questions. Therefore, given the importance of the topic, we highly encourage your participation even if your project has recently started or it has not yet started.

Participants

Prevention and preparedness project beneficiaries from the period 2020-2024, as well as beneficiaries of Knowledge Network Partnership and Full-scale Exercise projects, are invited to attend.

Registration

Please inform us by 28 January of the person who will participate and the name of the project he/she is involved in at ECHO-CP-P-P@ec.europa.eu. All project partners may be audited, so it is important that whole consortium is informed. The agenda and connection details will be sent only to the appointed participants.
