Technological Hazards and Crisis Management
The workshop will take place on February 19–20, 2025, at IMT Mines Alès in Alès, France.
This event offers an excellent opportunity for practitioners, researchers, and postgraduate students in risk and disaster management to expand their expertise in technological hazards, Natech risks, and managing industrial accident crises.
Discussions between participants and EUMA project partners will help shape the curriculum for a new Master’s programme in Risk and Disaster Management.
The workshop is open to 20–25 participants, with some spots reserved for members of EUMA partner institutions. Practitioners and researchers in disaster management and related fields are the primary audience.
All participants will attend in person at Alès. While only select keynotes and presentations will be broadcast, participants will enjoy complimentary lunch and coffee breaks during the one-and-a-half-day workshop. A social dinner is planned for February 19 (at participants’ own expense).
Participants are responsible for arranging and covering their travel and accommodation costs.

Interested candidates should email their CVs to ingrid.canovas@mines-ales.fr, with a copy to aurelia.bony-dandrieux@mines-ales.fr.
Practical details about traveling to and staying in Alès will be provided after registration!
