On 17-19 March the project consortium of CROSSFLOOD hosted the Stakeholder Meeting at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Romania in Bucharest. The meeting served as an excellent opportunity to prepare for the next activities and the Initial Planning Conference in June, especially thanks to the involvement of the representatives from Suceava County, the location of the Full Scale Exercise in 2026.
CROSSFLOOD - Cross Border Flood Response Exercise in a Post Conflict Environment is a UCPM funded Full-scale Exercise aimed at training civil protection organisations and Union Civil Protection Mechanism modules and Other Response Capacities on operating their mission set in a post-conflict environment hit by flooding. The Full Scale Exercise will take place in Suceava county in September 2026.
The project is coordinated by the Romanian Department of Emergency Situations (MOI) and includes the following partners: Bundeswehr University Munich, Resilience Solutions, Lviv State University of Life Safety, NCT Consultants, PubliComm as contractor and associated partners from Austria, the Baltic States, France and the Czech Republic.
