Prepared by Joint Research Centre (JRC) upon an ERCC request, this map illustrates how EU support for medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) of Ukrainian people is taking place.
The EU MEDEVAC Hub has been operating since 9 September, supporting MEDEVAC operations through the UCPM. As shown in the map, a total of 1913 EU MEDEVAC requests have been received, 1635 completed operations have provided assistance and 55 operations are in progress.
Monitoring events around the globe 24/7, the ERCC produces informative geospatial maps as part of its response to disasters. They provide situational awareness of events to support swift decision-making and help coordinate a more effective response. These maps are related to DG ECHO humanitarian and civil protection interventions.
