Business Continuity Plan Preparation and Implementation Training and Site Visit for Marmara Region Organized Industrial Zones Completed

Within the scope of the two-day program, we met with representatives from Tuzla Chemical Industrialists OIZ, Güzeller OIZ, Demirtaş OIZ, GEBKİM OIZ, Birlik OIZ, İkitelli OIZ, Çerkezköy OIZ, Anadolu Yakası OIZ, and Global Karma OIZ on August 18-19, 2025.

During the two-day program, a participant group of approximately 50 people received training on conducting business impact analysis and preparing business continuity plans in OIZs, and data was collected from the field. Guidance was provided on how to conduct the risk assessment and complete the forms that constitute the main backbone of the business impact analysis and business continuity plan.

In the program;

  • Prof. Dr. İbrahim Akgün provided comprehensive information on business impact analysis, business continuity plans, and project methodology,
  • Prof. Dr. İhsan Çiçek on the impact of climate change on business continuity,
  • Dr. Kadir Tomas on technological disasters,
  • And Dr. Emin Yahya Menteşe on natural disasters.

We continue on our path by strengthening our cooperation to increase resilience and sustainability in the industry.

Our priority is the Marmara Region; our goal is all of Türkiye.

The RESMAR Project is carried out under the coordination of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) and with the co-financing of the European Union.
