This project aims to increase the resilience and preparedness of the industrial facilities of the Marmara Region, which is highly disaster prone area and has high economic value in the country, against possible disasters (such as the expected Marmara earthquake) and to reduce the possible loss of market supply. This will be achieved by the implementation of Business Continuity Management System and Business Continuity Plan in different provinces in the Marmara region. At the same time, the project intends to increase the technical/administrative/ institutional capacities, awareness and disaster culture of national and local organisations with both training, workshops and one-to-one participation in project studies.
