The stakeholder meeting of the EU MODEX Cycle 12 Lot 4 (EUCPT-TAST) project, was conducted on Monday, the 18th and Tuesday, the 19th of March in Bucharest, at the headquarters of the lead organisation, DSU, the Department of Emergency Situations of Romania. All project partners and representatives of DG ECHO were present.
The project aims to design, plan, conduct and evaluate two field exercises for the European Union Civil Protection Teams (EUCPT) and Technical Assistance and Support Teams (TAST).
"These exercises are relying on strong national partners, running three and a half days. It will bring a very mission-realistic experience of an advisory mission with high training value and interoperability for all participants and stakeholders."
The EU MODEX EUCPT-TAST has the Department for Emergency Situations as the project leader, and the consortium partners are the Dipartimento Protezione Civile, Italy, Wicklow County Council, Ireland, and Cabildo de Tenerife, Spain, as well as publiComm GmbH (PCC) - Austria and the Austrian Red Cross (ARC) from Austria as subcontractors.
