MYRIAD-EU, a Horizon 2020 project focusing on multi-hazard, multi-sector, and systemic risk management, is excited to announce the upcoming multi-hazard Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Academy taking place in Barcelona, scheduled for October 23-26, 2024. It is co-organised by EU-funded projects PARATUS, MYRIAD-EU, The HuT and DIRECTED.

This four-day event aims to bring together around 30 Early-Career Researchers (ECR) and Early-Career Practitioners (ECP) to explore innovative approaches in DRR through interactive and hands-on activities. Participants will have the opportunity to lead thematic workshops, supported by senior scientists, fostering a bottom-up approach to shaping the academy’s agenda.
