Description

There will be ten table-top exercises (no field activities, no real assets, i.e. modules). The exercises will be mainly indoors, highly IT-based and involve extensive role-play scenarios. Each exercise will last 3 working days and will involve intensive interaction with all partners and actors involved (local and international), both virtually (via email and telephone) and face-to-face.

Type 1: “inside EU” - exercises

These exercises have a scenario that takes place within the EU and require participants to become familiar with working with the local HNS systems of the countries in which the exercises take place.

Type 2: “outside EU” – exercises

These exercises have a scenario set in an area outside the EU, usually in a fictional country, and focus on coordination, communication and procedures with non-EU actors and those not involved in EU missions, such as the UN.
